Affiliate and sponsor policy
We want you to know when money is involved. Here is how it works on this site.
Right now
As of the date above, no guide on this site contains affiliate links, and the site has no sponsors. We will update this page when that changes.
Affiliate links
Some guides may include affiliate links in the future. If you buy through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Any guide that has them will say so near the top, in plain words.
Sponsors
Any sponsored content or sponsor placement, on the site or in the weekly email, will be labeled “Sponsored.” Sponsors do not review or control what a guide says, and sponsorship does not change our recommendations.
Our standard
We only mention products and services we believe are useful to readers, and we tell you when a link is paid or affiliated.
